Welcome to SJT Writing, we’re so excited you’re considering working with us. As a Business Owner and Grant Consultant, it’s my mission to assist organizations in achieving sustainable grant funding.
Grants are competitive and resource intensive to secure. It can be overwhelming and a poor use of staff time if they aren’t experienced in grant writing. That’s where we come in! We are a boutique grant writing and project management consulting firm that is comfortable navigating the world of grants.
Our Approach | Before we can provide grant writing services, we need to know which grants to pursue. We have developed a unique approach to grant research and strategy that eliminates the mystery of how to successfully develop a project or program. Through this process, we will produce a Funding Strategy that lays out how to get from today to your long-term vision. A Funding Strategy is a 12-18 months roadmap that specifies what planning is still needed to position your organization for success and what grants to pursue and when.
Once the Funding Strategy is finalized we will provide a project amendment with a detailed scope, fee, and schedule for grant writing services. Some grants are complex 100+ hour efforts, and others require a quick letter of inquiry before finding out if we are invited to submit a full proposal. We cannot provide an exact flat rate fee for grant writing services until we know what grants we recommend pursuing.

OUR PROCESS
During our time together, you’ll receive uninterrupted support from me to fulfill each deliverable within your project. You can review each phase of your client journey by clicking on the sideways triangle.
Timeline: Funding strategies take on average 6 weeks to complete. We will do our best to expedite the process.
SCOPE OF WORK
Our Funding Strategy process follows a unique approach to grant research and strategy that eliminates the mystery of how to successfully fund a project or program. The deliverables included in this project are meant to provide a sustainable and cost-effective way to get grant-funded. We carefully select grant opportunities so you can stop guessing or finding out later on that you weren’t eligible or had impossibly low chances of success. We are thorough in our investigation of which opportunities represent the highest likelihood of success and the most responsible use of organization resources.
If during the project any additional deliverables are requested, we will determine if they need to be charged or can be built into the current agreement. If it’s determined an addendum is necessary, you will be billed at the end of the project for the extra charges.

I take pride in being a straightforward, transparent brand, which is why my pricing is too. That being said, with every investment, I do offer payment plans and accept CC or e-transfers.
Please note a required $500 booking fee will be requested after accepting this project brief, which will be credited towards your overall invoice - regardless of the option you select.
